Course Leader Feedback

Hi. George,  Here is your feedback: For this unit there have been some big gains in the use of Blender which you are definitely getting more proficient with and its encouraging to see you use it as a creative tool.   I think that there has been some really good improvements with the texturing and modelling of objects.  Your concept work is interesting with a strong use of colour and perspective and structure is improving.  I am a little unsure of what happened to the first half of the unit with the green screen which seems to be missing and you have submitted the Blend file which you don’t need to do.  Overall, there is improvement with your technical skills and some nice concept work which is great to see.  Going forward try to put a little more structure into your concept work and don’t forget to include all elements of the brief.  But a good effort this time around, well done. Self evaluation report for Unit 9

What was my contribution to this Unit 9 project? As a designer and an artist my contribution to this project was to design a roller coaster ride within a chosen environment. The ride must be set in a chosen film theme and relate to a target audiance.          I created a scene because I love fantasy in the worlds of Star Wars, Marvel, and Dc, Comics within the worlds of art and design, using the sci-fi themes that I chose.        Personally, I have grown as a designer and an artist building myself up from my        GCSE and A-Levels where I have chosen to go as a future professional.          How did the project go, what went well?       The project went well as I set out to create the environment within a 3D software within Blender, I have now become very confident with it and now that I can use it very well going forward as my primary software.  What didn't go we...
